Hosts: Ashley Morrison Roberts, Julie Cramer Bennett, Karen Hofmann Hansis, and Priscilla Lewallen,
This rally is a very popular end of season rally. It is held just south of Newport over the bridge into South Beach. There is plenty of antiquing to be had in this very active coastal town. The state park is located on the Pacific Ocean. Great walking trails.
Please start reserving in loop A, then move on to B and C loops as needed. You reserve you sites through the state park system: http://reserveamerica.com
Historically participants light up their site with a “night glow” so bring your favorite lighting and light it up!

Champoeg Fall Rally — The tentative schedule of events is as follows:…
7 PM – “Meet & Greet,” Campfire in the group area (bring a chair & the beverage/snacks of your choice – please bring some WOOD for the campfire if you can!!! Just drop it off at the group area fire pit behind the trailers any time) just a casual gathering.
Saturday: 7 AM Until around 10 – Coffee & snacks (we try to get a decent assortment of morning munchies for those who aren’t in the mood to cook in the morning!) in the group shelter for those who are so inclined.
1 PM – Lunch Potluck in the group shelter. HOPEFULLY the weather will be good!!! (some may need chairs) Bring
your favorite lunch foods to share, bring your own table settings.
3 PM — On Through the Evening: Open House (use your open/closed signs to participate as much as you like) & “TRAILER TREAT” — bring trick or treat candy for little ones – or not so little ones – for early Halloween!). We encourage you to decorate up for Halloween, wear costumes … as much or as little as you choose! No pressure … but … yeah, the candy …. that’s important. LOL
We also hope to have another campfire Saturday night …. please bring some wood if you can, your chairs, drinks & whatever munchies you like for some nice conversation around the fire.
—–Champoeg also generally has Apple Harvest Day going on that Saturday at the Visitor’s Center, during our rally. Volunteers in period clothing will offer visitors a chance to press and sample fresh apple cider, sample Dutch oven baked apple desserts and hot cider, string apple circles to dry at home, and bob for apples in the big washtub, or, weather permitting, play snap apple. Make your own Scare-Crow and paint a pumpkin!
